Because ...... if you're going to rebuild a legend from scratch, start at the top.

The T1 is the ultimate "what if" steam locomotive design, aka what if Pennsy had done it right and trained it's engineers to handle the brutes sans the wheel slip, what if they had used a stronger steel for the poppet valves, what if a T1 had been built to burn oil and run cab forward etc.

Frankly I'd also go for a Milwaukee A class Atlantic.
