SAVE SANTA FE STEAM IN SACRAMENTO

I usually try to steer clear of controversial subjects but this is a shame. I recently saw the two Santa FE 2-10-2 rusting away, covered with graffiti along the Sacramento River just south of the old town. I think these two engines had the honor of moving the last revenue freight (helper service) in Belen NM 1956. Is there any possible way these two very historical engines could at least be moved inside under protective cover somewhere? I know that part of the SP shop complex is still being used by the museum and has rail access and a transfer table no less. I Know this from a recent video of the WP 913 being ran on the transfer table and into the shop. Here we are kicking around impossible dreams of building a brand new T1 when at the very least we should be able to at least find protective cover for the last two Santa Fe 2-10-2s. How about a cosmetic restoration and paint job then parking one on the turntable at Cal State museum and the other one on the lead to the turntable. What ever it takes, lets get this project started. This is truly a project with merit.
