Not likely unless it happens in bankruptcy court. YW was listed for sale by a rail equipment/property brokerage (Ozark Mountain Railcar?) a few years ago, asking nearly a million dollars just for the ROW (not including the No. 19 or any passenger equipment). Given the condition of the line and that it probably has had little if any maintenance in the last 10 years, that is probably way more than it is worth.

While G&W (CORP's) owners can certainly afford it, they do not have a history of spending that kind of money unless the business is there to support that price. I'm sure if G&W thought that made financial sense at that price tag, they would have made a deal by now.

Rumor has it that Progressive Rail was looking at it within the last year, but they must have thought better about it too.
