I neglected to tell the rest of the story......Monte Sanders Jr.continued his upward spiral from PC,CB&Q,BN to FRA Regional Director and was the main man in charge of their steam program based in Denver,CO...from some research it appears he owns Monte's Mustang Mart in Englewood,CO...to this day.

Walter Kroening UTU General Chairman was arrested and convicted of a serious crime regarding children in Milwaukee and served 20 years in state prison....where he is today I do not nor want to know.

I'm retired from an exciting RR career for ten years now MILW/SOO/CP/AMTK/IMRL/ICE and still enjoy shooting train pictures that started when I was 10 years old.
