For anyone interested, there will be volunteer training and safety meetings at the Nevada State Railroad Museum on April 11 and April 25. The museum always welcomes new volunteers and becoming a member of the Friends of the NSRM is the first step. The museum operates steam locomotives, motorcars(including the only restored McKeen car)and offers handcar rides to visitors.
