The NCRA was the smartest thing North Coast liberal lefty's Dan Hauser and Wes Chesbro ever rammed through the State Legislature. But it will be a cold day in Global warming before you see another train north of Willits. The Port of Humboldt Bay may be a day closer than Oakland but it might as well be the moon when there are problems. The City of Eureka wants those Picaso painted GP-9's gone yesterday. East/West talk has gone south lately. Shave another half hour off SR 299 and a reload at Cottonwood and Ukiah is about all you can hope for until China takes over as the leading World economy. THA's acquisition of the roundhouse/shop property is the only good news lately, but with luck and patience the grants may come.
