Several old Washington State maps show the original GN tracks as running through the town just a bit North of, and parallel to, the present commercial row along Hwy. 2. Remember that the tracks were moved to Chumstick Cyn. in 1929; the years since & the growth of the town have left little evidence of the original Right of Way, though a spur did run into the fruit warehouse on the South side of Hwy. 2 until at least the 1940's.
