Seeing as how one of the car's trucks is still underneath the car and that the car is an Amfleet car, which are pretty much unibody construction, I don't see how this is possible. One of the drawbacks of unibody construction is this amount of twisting and failure once the integrity of the body shape is compromised (likewise a 230 person can stand on an empty soft drink or beer can until something dents it slightly in the side, at which time the can utterly collapses). Airplanes are also unibody construction, and how well do these fair, even in low-impact accidents?
