Preliminary report from black box shows train traveling at 106 MPH just prior to impact. The last recorded speed of the trsin was 102 MPH. Engineer and conductor both survived. Conflductor gave statement to authorities. Engineer refused and lawyered up. Speed on that curve is 55 MPH.
