All UP VHF Railroad repeaters/phones are history
Its all cell/smart/phone now (far cheaper and less maintenance, mostly for M of W, admin, road foremen, mechanical)
The train crews are only on the road channels for dispatching and mechanical
(unless they use their own personal cell or smart phone which might violate rules unless they are stopped)

BNSF has some PBX / MRAS systems but not many left, same reason far cheaper and less maintenance

I do miss listening to them
