While loss of these cars is sad. They are at this point nothing but shells and in need of a lot of work. There have been several discussions over on Rail Preservation News about the cars and the Landsdown as it is an x car ferry. One of the threads is current. It would take MEGA-MEGA bucks to do anything with them. Factor in the price of scrap being up higher than it has been for several months and it gets very problematical to save them. Andy
