Looking at past Google Earth imagery, the last cars I saw on it were in 2002. Not sure if the tracks behind Costco and REI were used for car storage when the northern approach to the American River bridge was replaced in the summer of 2007 after being burned by that homeless guy. The switch from the SP mainline seems to have been removed in the spring of 2010.
