Not hard to see how the coming Depression, rise of the auto and bridges was a pretty easy do-in for the system. NWP was just providing "transportation" to and from Eureka, probably based largely on a mail contract which I believe was still two trains at this point. Not much of a market there for a name train beyond the obvious.
