I believe all rail routes to Sacramento are now controlled by EwePee. Meanwhile, 4449's patron saint of the last 20 years has been BNSF, whose trackage only goes down to Keddie Wye.
Don't know how EwePee would feel about 4449 running down Feather River Cyn. on trackage rights, either.
BTW -- 4449 was repainted into AFT colors shortly after the 9-11 attacks. It ran from Portland to Bend, OR., painted that way.
