that 2002 Bend trip will remain my most favorite train trip. I will never forget the many people trackside waving their American flags as we passed by....even the memory is emotional for me.
yes I also would love to have the 4449 back in AFT livery for the 40th staff reunion next year and as the lead exhibit for the ORHC AFT Portland Story.
one can still dream..............
