That's my dry sense of humor saying "mysteriously."

Also, I worked for CDF for a number of years... That's how we old timers remember it! We don't like the overall direction the department has taken, as well as the name change to "Cal Fire." Plus, the agency has turned into a bureaucratic mess, compared to when it was still a Division, under the old Department of Conservation. Remember the recent scandal at the CDF Academy in Ione?

The joys of Internet-email type communication... one's written words may not sound the same as in the spoken form, so don't get too upset!

If you were monitoring the CDF radio traffic like I was, you would have been convinced that it was going to be running for some time and eventually be a threat to the railroad.
