Downloaded those topo zip files and took a look. Those tracks labeled "SP", like along the south side of Golden Gate park (Lincoln Way), are streetcar lines of the United Railroads of SF. The reason they say "SP" is because the SP owned the URR until about 1904. As part of the sale, United Parcel Service (of Seattle) bought the corporate shell. I've seen a sample of original URR green, and it's very similar to UPS green, that dark olive green.
