I do too, but it won't continue with Win10 because I never went beyond XP. And I don't permit XP anywhere near the internet, especially with Internet Exploder, on those rare occasions I do boot XP.
>I use LibreOffice for writing, spreadsheets, etc. That will continue with Win10. Open Office is equivalent.
Don't use open office, but then again I don't need an office suite. Virtually never use Word (one of the best examples of bloatware around).
>I use Thunderbird as an email client. That will continue with Win10 as long as AT&T/Yahoo allows POP & SMTP access.
Email protocols are cross-platform, regardless of what Micro$uck has been trying to do to corner the market.
>Unless you are a business (or work for a business) that's heavily invested in MS Office and Outlook for corporate control reasons, I see no reason to buy them.
Lookout and Lookout Express are the best virus vacuum cleaners known; they suck them right into your OS.
A friend works for a Large Silicon Valley Company who makes the machines the chipmakers use to make the chips. Last we talkd about it, which wasn't too long ago, I think he said the company still used XP (Pro, VLE).
>The only thing of "value" from MS on my computer is the operating system, and even that is being called into question.
Window$ has had questionable value ever since v95.
