Doing some web digging:

Google street view shows Joe's gas, bait & tackle at 8145 Monterey Hwy, 463-0663. People there may be able to help answer your question. OOPS! Yelp says Joe's is closed.

Further to the left, I can see the big old building with a "L.W. PROUSE" sign on it. The sign underneath says "Dairy Poultry Feeds". The Google search for them turns up only a link to some SP records.

Farther to the left, past the end of the building is "Fred Padula Lumber". No phone number visible, but Google puts them at 8149 Monterey Hwy.

Other than these places that are right next to the building, you might check with local personal weather stations, local airports, local roofers, news purveyors, etc.
