Did the cars have "Richardson" emblems on the side? Pretty routine but infrequent movement of these unit trains from Canada south into California. Had one roll by my house here in Post Falls, ID, yesterday afternoon. UP tends to keep them on home rails via Eugene, so perhaps what you saw on the O.T. was something else.
