FedEx already has a warehouse barely a mile from this new location so it isn't surprising or odd that they would look to expand in the area. They will be taking up just a portion of the larger development so we're not really looking at a major hub. For example, they even have a separate facility serving Santa Cruz with letters/packages never going through the Watsonville location. This whole thing is a non-story that has nothing to do with trains.
