During the Train Punks annual campouts at Tehachapi ( Memorial Day and Labor Day ), I once counted 125 cars on a WCEUM. Of course this was mostly empties returning to Eugene, a train we referred to as ECITY ( Every Car In The Yard ). Also, Bakersfield yard used to gather up all the strays on Sundays and send them over the hill to West Colton; I sometimes heard the crews refer to this train as " the Groaner ".
