When at W. Colton, the maximum and minimum length of trains towards Bakersfield was 7600 feet without the power. 4500 tons single. 5400 tons with 1 unit behind the cab. Kinda whichever came first.

On the Sunset route, same length limit, as most of the sidings were 8,350 feet. Running non-clearing trains just didn't work, so we stuck with these limits.

No specific limits on the Alhambra line, as those trains were as close to 'scheduled' as any out of WC - but that's mainly because the South Branch haulers were bulletined jobs.
