actually the real problem is, is that caltrain's policy, is to keep
everybody ON the train, in this incident, the local authorities could
have unloaded the passengers, between the train and the property fence,
as some individuals were shown doing on their own, and the police could
have escorted them across broadway avenue, during the light changes and
stored them in the now closed broadway station, which has been abandoned
except for weekend service, and which was right across the street crossing
from the accident, this would have solved the whole problem,
but as i say, no one was thinking that day, that had common sense, anyway
