As trivia, Pic 4 gives a good overview of the Lombard Yard and main track (where the locomotive in the middle distance is). This is where the infamous voyage of Commodore Capstaff's runaway GP9s began their journey from on their way to the Napa River.

The crew was returning light engine from Schellville and had instructions to pick up an SW1500 at Lombard Yard. By rule requirement, the switcher needed to be placed second-out in the locomotive consist, so the crew left the three trailing Geeps on the main track while they reached in with the lead Geep. Due to a series of human errors, the air bled off, the three Geeps starred rolling away (you can see in the photo that there's a pretty good grade) and the rest - as they say - is history. The Brazos lift bridge is out of sight way beyond the trees in the far distance.
