Wow, the bull$#it can sometimes gets so thick here, that you need hip boots to wade through it......
Let's see, a thesis is presented, that these "perfectly good" steam locomotives are being left to "rot" by the California State Rail Museum, with no good evidence to support it.....And, then it gets even better as we get the "truth" of the conspiracy theory behind this evil act (Warren Buffet, of course.....).
As the adult responses to this post would seem to indicate, evil Warren Buffet would apparently appear to have nothing whatsoever to do with these "rotting" engines, which it seems are actually in good hands, and being looked after by folks who do seem to care. All of this attempted preservation is being done despite being part of the evil California State Rail Museum, which is part of the evil State Parks system..... which is part of the evil State of California....
Maybe someone should just say thank you to the volunteers, the professionals, the taxpayers and the donors to the CSRM for their wonderful efforts to maintain and preserve this collection, as best they can, despite the range of very real difficulties this entails.....?
