The wreck outfit at the Roseville One Spot were all in Daylight colors. I was told it was done because the guys at the One Spot had worked without an injury for a long, long time.
I was on on a wreck train in the Canyon below Dunsmuir and both steam hooks were there. The big one, in Daylight colors with its train working the west end and our "little" one, the 7180 the east end. It was something to watch. The Roseville hook took two people to operate it and was the largest steam hook west of the Mississippi. It was donated to the museum in Sacramento I don't know the date. The 7180 only took one man to operate it and went back to Klamath Falls and I think Fred K has it, not sure.
I have a huge picture of them both at work but its 22" x 32". I don't know if it will come out in a camera. I don't remember who took it.
