There were two 250 ton cranes at Roseville. The diesel crane was SP 7113 with tender made from a gondola car, SP 7111. This was painted in the standard MOW gray. This is the one the CSRM donated to the PLA and is on display in Niles.
The second crane was SP 7070, still steam powered and was the one that was Daylight painted. This one was kept by CSRM and was operating at the Railfair in 2000. It was very impressive to see it operate. Flames would shoot from the stack when it was pulling hard. CSRM kept the adjoining Daylight painted idler car but donated the RPO/Baggage from this relief out fit to the PLA.
