Something to keep in mind is that putting music on a video may violate the copyright of the composer or publisher of that music. Under Federal law the copyright owner may require the operator of the web site to delete the post containing that music. In a worst case situation, the copyright owner can even sue the poster for damages.
There has been a lot if litigation recently over incidental use of music, for example, of a toddler dancing to music. It becomes of question about what the law terms " Fair use" of the music.
Pacific Locomotive Association uses specially licensed music on the Train of Lights to avoid copyright problems.
