Car GPS that show railroads (current models)

Hello all,

I'm wondering which (current) models of auto GPS show railroads on the map(s). I was a former TomTom GPS owner and all of the gps's I owned showed railroads(even some abandoned ones)so I'm really interested more in Garmin models. I don't believe Magellan GPS ever showed railroads.
As an added bonus, which model numbers have an altimeter. Taking a trip to Canada in April and last year when we were in Canada the map functions didn't work for **** on our phones so I am thinking of buying one.
