When the SP sold the Peninsula sub(is that what it was called?) to the JPB that runs Caltrain, or whatever, there was a stipulation in the contract about hours for freight operation. Said that the SP would have rights to one track all night after 9 or something. And rights to get on the mainline after 9am or something and work until 3 or so.
I wonder what the contract for the sale of the NWP's south end to the joint power board that spawned SMART said about hours and other rights retained for the freight operator?
