I was simply pointing out that the word 'promise' isn't synonymous with 'tentative' 'propose' or 'announce soon.' A lot of us are tired of lazy/inept people posting so-called news or updates in the posts' title when nothing of the sort is contained with.

People who are unjustifiably positive ALL THE TIME are just as obnoxious as people who are perpetually bitter every sunny day.
