Monday-Friday, on duty Yardley around 6-7am. Some days they run west to Fairchild, WA, in the morning to interchange with the Geiger Industrial spur (Bruce Butler can fill you in on this), then they'll hit the CdA Branch later in the day. Other days they run straight to the branch, usually reaching Hauser Jct. 8am-10am. Listen to 161.250 in the morning and listen for him talking to Boyer West DS. You'll know he's heading west to Fairchild when you hear talk about leaving via the Old Main or stopping at Erie Street Yard. When he's heading east to Hauser Jct., you'll hear the DS ask if he's leaving via North Main or South Main. Once on the branch, they use 161.100. When they first pull onto the branch, they may switch Stimson's Hauser Lake Lumber mill and Idaho Asphalt, giving you a chance to ask the brakeman or conductor if they're going all the way to CdA or not. He'll call up the UP Spokane Sub DS on 160.740 for permission over the diamond at Grand Junction, and if you're lucky he'll pause there for a passing UP train. Some days they only go to Huetter and run around their cars so they can work the two mills in Post Falls on their way back west, plus the IMCO Recycling plant at Hauser Jct. CdA is an absolute traffic jam on weekdays with commuters and construction traffic, so plan on quality shots rather than quantity.
