Kelly and I hyrailed the line from Orofino to Jaypee a year ago. Out of Orofino there is a small bridge with one end washed out which stopped us from the Orofino end about three or four miles from the big trestle as you leave Orofino.

We then went to Jaypee and hyrailed back towards Orofino where we were stopped by a large double-track washout probably six to ten m iles from Jaypee. Other than the portion we were unable to inspect, the rest of the line appeared to be in good shape. Very crooked and small trestles around every curve. 90lb and larger rail for the most part.
