Hi Richard,

I read your other Alameda Corridor story yesterday and found it fun and interesting. The story you linked to just now has some great pictures, too.

How did you manage to get on these trains? Was it just a matter of registering for that conference (for the APTA harbor tour), or do you have to be a special member of something to get invited? For the ICTF one, are you or do you know a UP employee?

I'd love to go on one of these special trips if it's open to the public...
