As I recall, the Santa Fe also had a location known as the "Bullring", which was the geographic south end of the First Street Yard, right alongside the LA River. A couple of Alco S2s worked simultaneously from the point where the yard tracks came together near where the 6th St. switch tender's shanty stood, just about underneath the famous 6th St. bridge. A lot of cars being kicked into various tracks made for a dangerous place to be on foot.
