It was Seattle, that used old electrical gear, refurbished it, and stuck it in brand new Gillig Phantom bus bodies. Now those buses are being retired as we speak.

Again, in Seattle, most trolley buses were 40' (non-articulated) Gillig Phantoms, although they did have about 70 articulated buses. Plenty of non-articulated trolley buses in Vancouver, San Francisco, etc. So far most of the double-articulated buses I can find are in fact diesel (or diesel-hybrid), NOT trolleys.
