There is a little piece of history just outside (45min drive) of Vancouver, BC named the "Billy Miner Pub". This little gem is a neighbourhood pub, in an old Bank Of Montreal. I think it was the 1930's when the bank closed the branch. It's across the street from the Haney station of the West Coast Express. Small portions- but good pub fare.
The pub is unique because of the proximity to one of Billy Miner's heists on the CP. The robbery happened literally on the tracks across the street. The entire place is done "saloon style" and littered with vintage artifacts all over the place. My favorite conversation piece is the wooden plunger used to detonate dynamite. old pictures of the area are all over the place, distant memories of the years past. Even though it's not entirely railroad-themed, It's still worth the "pit-stop" for a snack and a beer.
