I read ten years ago that solar scientists had predicted an end to the late '90's warming and an onset of global cooling, all due to a reduction in sunspot activity. Like most people I took it with a grain of salt since the "scientific consensus" at the time was that warming was caused by Man's CO2 and would continue unless CO2 emissions were radically reduced.

Well it's ten years later, and the solar scientists have proven to be right on the money. Since 1998, the average global temperature has fallen by 0.3 degrees Celsius, in spite of the fact that atmospheric CO2 has continued to increase.

So when it snowed today, I was not the least bit suprised.
