What about trains? The longer we follow the global warming bunk, the cloudier the future of railroading becomes. When I was in school in the mid-1970's, global cooling was all the rage, and if we didn't immediatly stop polluting glaciers were going to extend down to Yellowstone Park by the year 2000. I've still got all my science notes and books from that era, what a hoot, yet the religious attitude was very similar to today. Make my living forcasting weather, and it's gotten so bad that you almost can't work in the field unless you are a "true believer", yet the primary computer simulation that is cited by major weather scientists as the model for global warming is so large and flawed that it has NEVER been run to completion. The National Weather Service has a great set of records documenting the relationship between solar flairs and temperature on earth. Let's also not forget, the greatest human caused production of CO2 was during WWII, during a period of great global cooling.
