IF I had the money, I would pay for it. IF there was a campaign to do this, I would contribute.
My point was not to criticize, but possibly starting discussion about how hard it is today to get excursions on mainline rails. IF I could own a railroad near the CSRM that could handle excursions, as a operator, I would do it. Insurance? The state is self insured.....find the volunteers to restore. If they did it with 3751, they could do it with 5021.
So not to be impolite, but as one of our live steam members say about the members who are a pain in the ass:
