Did the cars back in the 90s already have air bags as secondary suspension?

(my Talgo experience is extremely limited, and some 30 years ago, on the Catalan Talgo between Lyon and Genève… memory fades, but I thought the running quality was pretty good, definitely better than the TGV at the time (when they had he steel coil springs as secondary suspension; after switching to air, things changes considerably)).
