The grand opening was well attended in spite of the windy weather with the added bonus of EWG and museum crews spotting the Museum's equipment during the event. It was interesting just how many people enjoyed watching the action. The steam locomotive was set out behind the fence at Highline Grain for movement to Reardan in a couple of weeks. Movement of the equipment from the fairgrounds, and an RPO and the Mt. St. Helen's sleeper obs. from Yardley went off without a hitch at a whopping 10 mph over UP, BNSF and EWG. Such a movement these days over class 1's is a feat in itself. Reportedly the museum will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Oct 31, check their website.
