What real travel demand analysis have any of you actually done on this potential service connection from the Valley to the peninsula or SFO? How many license plate survey post cards have you sent out to drivers on 580 to determine origin and destination, trip type, and trip frequency? None?

So none of you have any idea what the potential demand might be, and you're just guessing, right?

Real planning is done with rigorous analysis, using real data, and well vetted peer reviewed methodology, not by anecdotal evidence, random speculation, listening to the "conventional wisdom", or my favorite method used so often at the CHSRA, which is to just make up whatever will justify the project.
