Looks like faux painting to tart up the area over the windows. Strange, but looks good. You have to ask yourself why would a car with this much restoration detail be for sale? It's as though someone went out of their way to add far more detail than the car had when built? If you look closely there are light fixtures missing or replaced, holes patched, even some staining in service closets. But overall the wood tones and detail are breathtaking. I'll bet those are friction bearings?
