Never said there wasn't. I was just talking about how to interface with a steam engine.

I guess they could also kill the fire, open the blow downs on the boiler and close a huge check valve of some sort between the steam dome and the cylinders and even throw it in reverse. I guess a person could go on and on for days listing things that would control a steam engine. Get a grip.

In my years I always liked the "Kiss" theory, that's all. Big hole the train and everything comes to a stop.
