Yep drugs and alcohol are becoming the norm. Marijuana is becoming legal. In fact it is illegal to buy or posess any firearm while using any illicit drug including MJ, even if it is legal in the state you live in. Sign of the times? I think so and belive we are headed to 3rd world status. But all will be well as long as our overlords keep us boozed and drugged up, to keep us happy and unaware.
