Re: So what did Philip Anshultz do wrong?/Land Question

I troll around on Google maps a lot. Two years ago, the interstate 80 corridor from just east of Colfax, Ca., to just west of Truckee, Ca., was green in street view, meaning the land was still BLM/ National Forest land. I know that every other township parcel was owned by railroad interest and Government. If you are saying that Mr. Anshultz has a chunk of U.P. stock, does this give him the ability to sell off land holdings the railroad owns, then buy them back as a private investor as the corridor has gone all white now between these two points, meaning private land....?
