What happened in the old days of 50 to 100 mph steam? The old days of more freights and Super Chiefs
Did people Stop, Look, Listen and there for Live? You bet they did
I bet people treated crossing an active rail line like they would be crossing a live street and were careful (bet they didn't sue either if they got hit or the next of kin if they were killed
Bet cops didnt stop train traffic for hours, and there wern't that many scumbag lawyers ready to sue at the drop of a hat
