Sammie--what exactly do alignment control couplers do and why can the class ones move units without them all over their systems, but once the units are sold they have to have alignment control couplers installed to move and inch? Many thanks in advance for your reply.
(Many moons ago, I was part of a museum that purchased a Geep without alignment control couplers and the class one's moved it "like a boxcar" 5 cars behind the power, even when non-alignment control units were working in the power consist. But I've never known the function of alignment control couplers.) Again, thanks.
